Veto of popular bipartisan SB 442 by Gianforte, and mtleg refusal to override the veto. SB 442 provided funding mechanism for road maintenance. Now county taxpayers will bear the extra burden.

This is not a comment on the merits of any belief/action, but when you concentrate a bunch of idealistic exuberant youth in one place and put PhD prima donnas in charge, the pot is going to boil over sometimes.

Some have said mtleg can’t ’pick the winner.’ CI127 requires new election law to be written for when no candidate receives a majority (51%) of vote. Gee how many times will that happen w/ 4 candidates on general ballot? Why would I trust supermajority to write a fair process?

Why weren’t CI-126 and 127 combined? Worse than both passing into law would be if only one of them passes.
