Padres Thoughts It’s probably partly because I imagine their billing department is a mess. And partly because they make daily interest on money they keep.

If I had to guess AJ has been offered an extension but with Greupner having too much control. And unless AJ gets the control he wants (and deserves) then I think he’s fine seeing out this year and giving us 1 last run at a WS. Greupner seems to be a problem.

Also if AJ doesn’t get an extension because Greupner won’t give up his control, then I hope AJ nukes our farm system and pushes in all chips to 2026 World Series.
