Preprint is out "Maximum movement performance, not activity levels or thermoregulatory indices, affects survival in a free-ranging ectotherm". We address relationships between environmental temps, thermoregulatory behaviour, laboratory metrics & survival in ectotherms in situ.

As the world gets warmer, it’s stressing out animals like skinks which rely on the temperature around them to control their body temperature. Now, Crino & co show that this stress can also have lifelong affects on the skinks’ children journals.biologists.com/jeb/article/22…

New paper in nature led by Patrice Pottier! We demonstrated global vulnerability of amphibians to warming, threatening 10% of >5,000 species examined. How did we do it? | nature.com/articles/s4158… | See thread🧵

Hot off the press from Daniel Noble 🇦🇺🇨🇦 lab: Our new General and Comparative Endocrinology paper shows that sex-reversed female bearded dragons (ZZf) have circulating T & E₂ levels indistinguishable from normal females (ZWf), and their egg yolks carry the same steroid loads.
