This week we held our welcome back assemblies! The kiddos were so excited to learn of so many new things happening around our building!

Today at Pinewood we had our first bus drill of the year! The students learned and practiced what to do in case of a bus emergency. They all did an excellent job!

We started our "cafeteria challenge" here at Pinewood this week! Classes are competing against one another to earn points towards some really great prizes! All of the classes are rockin' it so far!

Pinewood students are excited to start "school spirit Fridays"! Every Friday students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to wear something that represents school spirit. It could be Mohon gear, Pinewood gear, or even just black and orange! MohonCSD

The winners of our first round of the cafeteria challenge were announced Friday! Ms. Townsend, Ms. Vumbaco, and Mrs. Kueblers classes all receive an extra recess while our overall building winner, Ms. Townsend's class, all get a free snack from the snack shack!

Mrs. Vumbaco's class hosted their annual Thanksgiving tea today. It is always a special day here at Pinewood!

Our library is borrowing “I’m your neighbor”,a traveling showcase of books, representing immigrations stories and allowing us to meet the families through their pages. We will have it on loan to us until Dec. 13th, and will be able to look at the books during our library times.
