On the occasion of #VigilanceAwarenessWeek2021 starting today, October 26, 2021, Works Department, Odisha officials led by Special Secretary Er Manoranjan Misra took the integrity pledge reinforcing the organization's commitment to transparency and working for the public interest.

Er. Tushar Kanta Panda, Chief Construction Engineer, Central Circle & other PWD Bhubaneswar officials inspected the ongoing widening of the road to four lane from Chandaka to Pitapalli of Old Cuttack Ganjam Road. The project is at finishing stage & will complete by Nov 2021.

Er Durga Charan Behera, Chief Construction Engineer with other PWD Ganjam officials inspected Old age home at Palur Hills, Berhampur. Main building (structural work) & Yoga Hall have been completed. The finishing work of project is underway & will be completed by December 2021.

Er. Tushar K Panda, Chief Construction Engineer, PWD Bhubaneswar & District Judge, Khordha conducted a joint visit to finalize the location for shifting Sub-Collector & Tahasildar offices to OAT. Instructions were given to complete minor repair & renovation by mid-November.

Er Prafulla Kumar Pradhan, Chief Construction Engineer, Cuttack Circle & Works Department, Odisha officials inspected the construction progress at Vyasanagar Autonomous College, Jajpur, under OHEPEE. 100-seated SC/ST Boys & Girls Hostel inside campus is expected to be completed by April 2022.

Er. Manoj Kumar Tripathy, Chief Construction Engineer, Phulbani, reviewed the progress of 938m long Marjakud Bridge in Boudh. Foundation work for the bridge is complete while work on the approach roads is in progress. The project is scheduled for completion by May 2022.

Er. Arun Kumar Sahoo, Chief Construction Engineer, PWD Koraput inspected construction of High-Level Bridge on Parvatipur-Laxmipur road over Jhanjabati River. Slab reinforcement is underway. Girder casting has been completed. Work is being expedited for completion by July 2022.

Construction of two High-Level bridges on Narayanpur-Arjipalli Road, Ganjam is underway. Er. Rama Krishna Moharana, Chief Engineer, World Bank inspected its progress. Slab casting & foundation work have been completed. The project is expected to be completed by April 2022.

Er Ashok Kumar Giri, Chief Construction Engineer, Dhenkanal inspected High-Level Bridge over Gai Nallah on Bindhanima-Khandahata road (ODR). The construction of 95m long bridge has been completed. Work on approach road is being expedited to be completed by end of December 2021.

Er Manoj Tripathy, Chief Construction Engineer, Phulbani inspected work at the 100 seated Govt Medical College & 500 bedded Teaching Hospital in Kandhamal. With a budget of 450Cr, it also includes 150 seated Girls hostel, 300 seated Boys hostel, an auditorium & other blocks.

Er. Manoj Kumar Tripathy, Chief Construction Engineer, Phulbani, inspected the construction of 1.2km long High-Level bridge over River Mahanadi connecting Boudh Town to Ward No. 13 & 14 at Marjyakud. 18 spans out of 37 are completed. Work is expected to be completed by June 2022.

Er. Gouranga Sahu, Chief Engineer, Buildings, visited the construction site of 100-seated Government Medical College & 500-bedded Teaching Hospital, Keonjhar. The project will cater to healthcare requirements of the district.

Construction of Government Medical College & Teaching Hospital, Bhawanipatna, is underway. Er. S.N Acharya, Additional Chief Engineer, Building-II, inspected and reviewed the progress. Construction of staff quarters & Academic Block is complete while finishing work is in progress

ଭବାନିପାଟଣାରେ ସରକାରୀ ମେଡିକାଲ କଲେଜ ଓ ପ୍ରଶିକ୍ଷଣ ହସପିଟାଲ ନିର୍ମାଣ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଆଗେଇ ଚାଲିଛି । ଇଂ. ଏସ ଏନ ଆଚାର୍ଯ୍ୟ, ଅତିରିକ୍ତ ମୁଖ୍ୟଯନ୍ତ୍ରୀ, ନିର୍ମାଣ-୨, ଏହି କାର୍ଯ୍ୟର ଅଗ୍ରଗତି ନିରୀକ୍ଷଣ ଓ ସମୀକ୍ଷା କରିଥିଲେ । କର୍ମଚାରୀଙ୍କ ଆବାସ ଓ ଶିକ୍ଷାଦାନ କୋଠା ନିର୍ମାଣ ସମ୍ପୂର୍ଣ୍ଣ ହୋଇଛି ଏବଂ ଫିନିଶିଙ୍ଗ କାର୍ଯ୍ୟ ଚାଲିଛି ।

A team of Works Department, Odisha officials led by Chief Engineer, DPI & Roads, inspected Left Parallel Road work between Rail Vihar Junction and Hatiasuani Square & near Patharagadia Village. Work is being expedited to finish Bituminous layer & complete the project by the end of February.
