Public contributors never, ever fail to amaze and inspire. We are so privileged to hear from Sadia telling her story about her journey in #PPI. To all public contributors THANK YOU. We couldn’t do health and care research without you. College of Medicine and Health (UoB) NIHR Midlands PSRC NIHR ARC West Midlands
#PPI with Lego serious play. I just ❤️how every day doing public involvement is different. NIHR ARC West Midlands NIHR Midlands PSRC
“Public contributors are here to rock the boat but the way we do it is important.” Great to hear from NIHR Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre contributor share their experiences of #PPI. Using another boat analogy, it’s not all plain sailing, but thank goodness we have people on the good ship PPI ❤️
At out College of Medicine and Health (UoB) PPI festival, we have been getting creative with Lego. Check out this great representation of how we are all have different, unique perspectives. All the Lego bricks see something different when they look around. 👀

All systems go! We are all set up University Hospitals Birmingham to share our fantastic work in the NIHR Midlands PSRC in maternal health and acute care. We are chatting to people about how our research is making care safer.🙌🙌
Exciting to attend the NIHR Birmingham Biomedical Research Centre early career event yesterday and give an introduction to the other NIHR centres working in healthcare in Birmingham, including NIHR Applied Research Collaboration (ARC) West and our PSRC! Eager to continue collaborating across NIHR infrastructures in the midlands and beyond.
It was a real privilege today to share the patient safety research NIHR Midlands PSRC. It was a greater privilege to listen to patients that came to chat to us. Every patient has an important story to tell: to make care safer, we need to really listen - now more than ever before.
