IT’S TODAY! Three amazing practitioners sharing CogSci practice in History 😍 Starting at 9.30. Everyone’s circumstances are different at the moment so it will be recorded so that you can view at a time that works for you 🖤

Are there any Primary history subject leaders out there in the world of Twitter? I’ve been given that subject to lead and only started in January. Any advice for the main focus or where to start?

For those who said yes, what kind of links do you have? For those of you who said no, is this despite trying or haven't tried?

PR history For a history leader, it's really crucial that chronology and disciplinary understanding are a strong priority too. A recent article in Historical Assoc's primary journal by Tim Jenner (I think) highlighted them. Chronology is better but disciplinary understanding is not there yet.

If you have a history lesson this week, what are you teaching? (I'd start but we are in the middle of a geography unit currently)

Just ran a session with some Sussex school history and curriculum leads and understanding what the history curriculum 'offers' and tells us. It's quite a good framework if you 'know' how to make use of it and really hard if you don't.

Here it is... The History Through Books Timeline. That was a lot harder than I anticipated! misterbodd.wordpress.com/2021/04/02/his… As always, my resources are free... but if you have a spare couple of quid there's two options. -Buy me a book -Donate to @TrussellTrust
