Full overnight closure of Hwy. 1 at Rocky Creek (12 miles south of Carmel), will begin Sunday, July 27 at 10 p.m., with the highway scheduled to reopen Monday, July 28 at 6 a.m. Crews will deploy a crane across both lanes during closure to resupply seawall reconstruction project.

Highway 41 will be closed during the daytime hours (6 am to 8 pm), Tuesday, August 5 to Thursday, August 7 from Hwy. 46 East to State Route 33. Detour is State Route 33 between 46 and 41. Closure allows for connecting the new 46/41 interchange to existing SR 41. Caltrans HQ

Only State Route 41 will be closed from 6 am to 8 pm between the 46 East/41 Interchange and State Route 33 at Reef Station on August 5, 6, 7. Highway 46 East will remain open and part of the detour which includes State Route 33. Map shows dates, area of closure and detour below.

Starting Saturday, August 9, and until further notice, travelers will encounter a closure of the on and offramps of northbound US 101 at Santa Maria Way from 7:30 am to 9:30 am. Closures are in support the movement of emergency response vehicles deploying to the Gifford Fire.
