Today, @PHE_uk have published details of the indicators to be included in the Public Health Outcomes Framework for the next 3 years. Full details can be found at gov.uk/government/con…. The changes will begin to be made on the #PHOF webtool from our November update. #HealthData

New in #PHOF today: The rates of emergency hospital admission due to falls in 2018/19 significantly increased for those aged 65 years and over and those aged 80 years and over. Conversely, emergency admission rates for hip fractures decreased significantly during the same period.

Inequality in life expectancy at birth was 9.5 years for males and 7.5 years for females in 2016-18. There was a slight widening of the inequality of 0.1 years. These were not significant compared with the previous period but continue the trend of widening inequality. #PHOF
