On 27th-28th Feb,2024, PEN Kenya trained Turkana CSOs and members of the CSOs taskforce on Resource Mobilization. This equipped them with skills for mobilizing resources both locally and internationally thereby strengthening and advancing their advocacy work in the county.

We strongly condemn the injuring of the SG of KMPDU while participating in a peaceful protest. Davji Bhimji Atellah and every other Kenyan have the right to engage in a peaceful protest. We demand that the police and every other stakeholder involved in public order to respect the constitution

On 19th to 21st Feb, 2024, PEN staff and CFF secretariat had their institutional capacity strengthened on cybersecurity, M & E and also reviewed the strategic plan. This equipped the staff with best advocacy, monitoring, evaluation and reporting skills.

On 8th-9th February, PEN trained Kilifi CSOs Network representatives on Governance and Conflict Resolution. This activity seeks to strengthen the county CSOs' advocacy work by fostering harmonious working relationship within the Kilifi County CSOs.

Today PEN Kenya, CFF, MWARP, and Kwale CSO Consortium met the Kwale County Secretary to discuss the establishment of the CSO-County Govt Engagement Framework. This will hopefully yield regular roundtables between the parties to enhance civic engagement in governance matters .
