SYDNEY POLICE CONFIRM MASS STABBING WAS NOT TERRORISM.

The man was known to law
enforcement and did not hold 'terrorist motivations or ideology'

Translation: They found out it wasn’t a Muslim and so are no longer calling it a terrorist attack.

Now you know, for the exact same…

The entire world watched as Israel bombed an Iranian diplomatic property in Damascus which is recognised globally as an effective declaration of war. Is it just me or to get mad at Iran for retaliating is ridiculous! If Israel can “defend itself” then why can’t other nations

Wow - not only did Germany refuse Dr Ghassan entry to the country but he was threatened with jail time if he even joined the conference via zoom *in Britain*??? Or sent in a pre-recorded video???

Watch for his analysis of why this happened:

It’s amazing that since Friney ☕️🌷 left my kids have been as much of an inspiration & source of strength for me as I have been for them. Eid Mubarak everyone

I baked some bread today - first time ever.

I decided to go off-piste and swap out some of flour for salted caramel protein powder

Then I baked it in an air fryer… not a complete disaster….tasted ok

As a British citizen, it's strange to know that if I'm murdered by Israel, my prime minister and the entire national media will immediately defend Israel.

From FY1 to ST2 I did a generalist set of jobs for 5 years

Gen Med - 4 mts
Gen Surg - 14 mts
Urology - 4 mts
Intensive Care - 10mts
T&O - 20mts
Research - 4mts
Plastics - 4mts

I’m getting bored of hearing that drs are specialists & PAs are “generalists”…

An F1 could rattle through this job list quickly, for the princely sum of £32,398 a year / 40 hr week.

A physician associate can do one of these tasks (take, but not safely interpret, bloods) for £43,741 a year / 37.5 hr week.

Victoria Atkins is this value for money?

PAs removed the term ‘assistant’ from their name and replaced with ‘associate’ in order to aggrandise themselves. The person who drove this owned shares and was a director of a company recruiting and placing PAs and was president of the FPA. None of us knew this at the time.

This makes the whole thing even worse than it was before…..3 years of English lit, 2 years of PA studies and they can pretend to do my job?

(And yet my ED Dr colleagues wouldn’t be allowed to try my job)

The universities, NHSE & govt have absolutely lost the plot

“Degrees in homoeopathy, computer science, English literature and human resources are being accepted as entry qualifications” - this is why it is extremely disingenuous to include the “3 years of preceding study” to the PA course as relevant in any way.

Oh my word

So much wrong with this tweet.

“Delving” into healthcare

Training rotations not “feasible”

Not inspiring confidence…

6 months have gone by & as the dust settles, we take stock. It feels like the road we are travelling on is becoming more solid, but the scenery is tenuous & either side the abyss of grief makes unwanted appearances. Still waiting for that light at the end of the tunnel

Today, we’ve launched our public consultation about the rules, standards and guidance needed to implement the regulation of physician associates (PAs) and anaesthesia associates (AAs).

Legislation has been passed for us to regulate PAs and AAs. We’re now consulting on proposals…
