For those of you that are out taking advantage of the fantastic deals today, and are out bee-bopping between stores, please cover your purchases left behind in your car. Do not become a “target of opportunity” Trust us, it will put you in a REALLY bad mood...

Little bit of snow this morning, as this storm finally spins off of New England. Up until around noon, it might get slick on secondary roads. Give yourself a little extra time!

If you had a choice when roadwork would take place near your home that would have a major effect on traffic during the day and could at times be noisy while you slept, when would you choose to see it done?

We had a very special visitor today! She tried to hide for a game of “where’s the 46?” ...but we caught her. Happy Independence Day from all of us at Nauset Marine! #keepingfamiliesafloatsince1961 #benice #bekind #nomorebeingbad @orleanspolice

Power outages and restoration remain problematic across our communities. Nauset Public Schools will remain closed tomorrow and we anticipate a full reopening on Friday. Be sure to stay away from wires that are clearly down…stay safe and warm! See you on Friday!

Our team is working closely with the Orleans Police & Orleans Fire Dept. to coordinate roadside restoration work like here on Namequoit Rd. We're grateful for the partnership of all our communities helping to keep our crews safe as they work to get the power back for our customers.

Nauset Public Schools will be closed tomorrow as a result of the recent storm’s impact. This will allow the necessary time for our DPW’s to finish their efforts. We also expect to have electrical power restored to all schools later tomorrow. Please stay warm!
