On January 27, 1945, Auschwitz was liberated. In 2005, The United Nations adopted a resolution to mark the anniversary of the liberation as Holocaust Remembrance Day. NCSS continues to remember the millions of innocent lives that were lost and reaffirm our vow to never forget.
