Excited to announce Orbital Operations $8.8M funding round! Thank you to Initialized Capital for leading the round as well as major investments from Harpoon Ventures, DTX Ventures, RebelFundVC , TRAC VC, Karman Ventures, and Immad Akhund.
Who doesn't love hardware? 🦾🚀 We're moving crazy fast at Orbital Operations . If you want to learn about our high thrust space vehicle, visit our website at orbitalops.tech. Interested in joining our world class team? Check out our job board: ats.rippling.com/orbital-operat…
This is exactly what Orbital Operations is building with Astraeus 🚀🛰️🛡️ Sustained maneuver, refueling & resupply = resilient space ops. cc: U.S. Space Command 🔗 orbitalops.tech
Hardware > PowerPoint. 🚀❄️ Orbital Operations first demo cryo tank is here. Huge shoutout to @CascadeInnotech. These tanks stop cryo propellants from boiling off in orbit—the tech behind Astraeus’ efficiency, range, and thrust. 🛰️ Ad Astra | orbitalops.tech
Cryo tanks + rocket engines 🚀🛰️ The Orbital Operations team is moving fast. Designing, building, and testing hardware to push the frontier of in-space mobility and defense. We’re just getting started + we’re hiring 👉 orbitalops.tech
Satellites weren’t built to move, but the future of space depends on it. Orbital Operations is developing high-thrust, cryogenic spacecraft that can move, refuel, and think for themselves, powering the next frontier of defense and logistics. 🎙️ Watch High Bit with brett gibson and
First full thrust chamber hot fire 🔥 On Oct 30, Orbital Operations completed its first full-pressure hot fire using our in-house injector, heat sink chamber, and mobile test stand. A big step toward full regen-cooled chamber testing and the flight-ready Astraeus engine. 🚀
It was a pleasure talking with alex 🏴☠️🇺🇸🇺🇦 on This Week in Startups! 🎙️🚀 The high-thrust vehicle we are developing at Orbital Operations uses cryogenic propellants, can remain stationed in orbit, and is built for military and logistics missions. Learn more at: orbitalops.tech
Today’s Executive Order on Ensuring American Space Superiority makes the priority clear. Space is a contested operational domain, and speed, resilience, and maneuver matter. At Orbital Operations , this is exactly what we are building toward. Space superiority requires rapid maneuver,
Rocket trailer giddy-ups are my new favorite thing.🏇 Great to be back into testing this week. This engine will power the Orbital Operations Astraeus vehicle, built to store and use LH2/LOX for high-thrust, high-efficiency maneuvering while staying on orbit for years at a time.
Design. Manufacture. Test. Iterate. Full-scale cryogenic tank alongside our manufacturing and test pathfinder. Fast to design. Hard to manufacture at speed and scale. Large-scale testing of our flight-like cryogenic management system coming soon. This enables Orbital Operations
