A great day for the Opeongo Wildcats at Track & Field Regionals, with 3 athletes heading to @OFSAA in 5 events! 🥇Quinn Coughlin placed 1st in 400m, 1st in 800m, and 2nd in 1500m. Aliah Nizaha placed 4th in Javelin. And Brittany Verch came 4th in High Jump. Congratulations 👏🏻

Hats off to Opeongo HS grads. A record? Of 96 grads, 51 (50%+) are Ontario Scholars, 38 received RCDSB medallions (40%) and 90% of university bound received entrance scholarships. Noah Fleurie, delivered a powerful valedictorian speech describing student life through a pandemic.
