Hi, it's Neal Ozano. I'm going to tell a story. (It already sounds boring, but that's the dad curse... go ahead and roll your eyes, you xennials and y-ennials) It was the brief time when my journalism career fell in lock-step with my dreams. It was 2011, at OpenFile.ca.

In spring 2011, someone told me a new online #media outlet, OpenFile.ca, was starting in #Toronto, and opening regional branches in #Vancouver, #Calgary, #Montreal and #Halifax. I'd just involuntarily ended my favourite reporting gig, and was ready for the next thing. #lifechange
