I do believe (from extensive research for a Master's degree thesis) that most people with type two diabetes do not know that remission is possible and if they do, they did not hear it from a HCP. Why? Diabetes Ireland HSE Ireland

Great conversation - we need to see people as people 1st & then as scientists or parliamentarians. We live in the same world & want to make it better. Hopefully by engaging on neutral ground we can find the common language needed. #Science4Parliament The Club of Rome IPUparliament

I really worry about the conflicts of interest in our ‘leading food science departments’ like this revealed by The Financial Times involving Reading University and Mars and Pepsi Also that there may be a coordinated policy to ‘Deny, Denounce &Delay to protect Junk food. Rather

Great work Dr David Unwin. Amazing how many health care professionals do not tell those with type two diabetes that it’s possible to reverse / put it into remission & ditch the drugs. Hope the message continues to spread Diabetes Ireland HSE Ireland @diabetes HealthResearchBoard Department of Health
