With just a few hours to go before the start of the inaugural Summer MRT Challenge North, it’s a poignant time to thank Oldham MRT & Woodhead MRT for assisting a Spiner who fell and could no longer continue yesterday… 🧡

Ace’s wound is healing well, the bandages are hopefully coming off this week. Ace was injured during training. He stood on a broken glass bottle. This incident stands as a stark reminder to look after the countryside. Take your rubbish home with you & leave nothing but memories!

Here you can see the moment earlier this evening that our crew talked in members of Oldham MRT to a family lost in the dark on the moors above Dovestones Reservoir. Great team work with Greater Manchester Police North West Ambulance Service also to ensure all are now safe and well.
