Today we remember and honour all who have served and those who continue to serve. Their bravery and dedication protect the freedoms we cherish. HGS will come together in a Remembrance assembly and a moment of silence to reflect on sacrifices made by generations past and present.

In Science this week, Year 3 have been investigating how shadows change shape. We went outside and drew around a friend’s shadow and then stood in the same places later on to see the difference.

Year 7 Creative Writing students went for an inspirational walk in preparation for entering The Winfield Literacy competition organised by Hulme Grammar School . The story must be below 500 words and #Oldham must be mentioned. We are looking forward to reading their stories. #community
