As part of the 550th Anniversary of the birth of Copernicus, the Polish Cultural Institute New York has launched the Dare to be Copernicus project. Today our school welcomed #AI Researcher A. 🚀Today we launched our Dare to be Copernicus 🌎 🌞 project with @officialwhsad! Our first speaker was #data researcher A. Przegalinska Aʟᴇᴋꜱᴀɴᴅʀᴀ ᴘʀᴢᴇɢᴀʟɪɴꜱᴋᴀ, Ph.D., talking about the role of #AI, the role it plays in our lives and how we can use it as a collaborative tool 🙌

Our students launched their book about 🇵🇱 castles. They showcased how they wrote,illustrated,&digitized the book. They also held a workshop for their younger peers. Astronaut George Zamka joined us today as part of Polish Cultural Institute New York’s “Dare to be Copernicus” series. Mr. Crockford’s Woodworking Club is busy assembling our dust collection & band saw machines learning to safely use the jointer. Students are using the track saw to make cabinetry and gaining an understanding of the machine. Janice Ross Dr. Rushell White
