Update: finally read through my course evaluations and they literally brought tears to my eyes. Pandemic everything is so hard. But the evals made me feel like the effort is actually worth it, even if it’s hard to feel that way in the middle of the slog of the term.

🧵 on Linear Regression and R-squared with #rstats & #tidyverse. You have data, but need a model to either predict new points or explain the relationship. Several lines, sales=m(temp) + b, seem reasonable. Which is best?

The good thing when working with tidy data is that python, R and SQL code often becomes very similar. (Makes it easier for my brain, when switching between languages 🧠👍)
