⚖️ For the 1️⃣st time, #justice inspection bodies from the region gathered in Tirana for a two-day conference organized by OSCE Presence in Albania 🤝 Inspektori i Larte i Drejtesise Artur Metani & support of other OSCE missions in SEE. 🎯 Focus on judicial #integrity, regional co-operation and European integration.

Amb. Tarran met Speaker Niko Peleshi, reaffirming OSCE Presence in Albania support for democratic institutions, political dialogue & participatory reforms. Talks focused on Assembly’s transparency, digital tools, citizen engagement & continued OSCE backing for reforms & capacity-building.

🇦🇹🤝🇦🇱 With OSCE Presence in Albania support, 29 #Austrian judges began a 2-day study visit to #Albania’s justice institutions. ⚖️ At the High Judicial Council, School of Magistrates & Administrative Court of Appeals, they explored judicial independence, training & administrative law.

🔎🪪 Border police experts from 🇦🇱🇲🇰🇧🇦 joined a regional Training-of-Trainers in Durrës on detecting forged ID documents. Organized by OSCE Transnational Threats Department & OSCE Presence in Albania, the course boosted regional co-operation in the fight against cross-border crime.
