Proud to stand in solidarity with the UNITE HERE Local 23 workers at the Hyatt Place Austin Airport to demand that their corporate bosses recognize their union, stop their illegal retaliation against workers, and re-hire the union members they fired.

On top of hosting multiple rallies a day with thousands of Texans, Bernie Sanders visited and supported East Austin hotel workers who were fired when trying to form a union. We delivered a letter asking for these women to get their jobs back. Solidarity forever, UNITE HERE Local 23.

When traveling with Bernie Sanders in Texas, there was a common theme: Tears of joy from students. Tears of gratitude from poor people he stood up for. Tears from veterans, teachers, & retirees who were inspired to fight on another year. Thank you, Bernie. When we fight, we win!
