Some councils charge for appointeeships - some don't e.g. £260 per year (Sunderland) and £137.80 per quarter (Tameside). Another e.g. of the social care charging postcode lottery. Councils that do charge for this should now treat the charge as legitimate DRE, as per LG & SC Ombudsman

Labour be warned: it is a big mistake to under-estimate disability. We might be invisible within the Westminster bubble but we are a big population whose issues affect a much wider segment of society and we care deeply about politics as they really affect our day to day lives.

The Green Party supports an NHS which is publicly owned, publicly run and free at the point of use. And, just to make things really good we support Social Care which is publicly owned, publicly run and free at the point of use. We cant't afford not to have them.
