Some councils charge for appointeeships - some don't e.g. £260 per year (Sunderland) and £137.80 per quarter (Tameside). Another e.g. of the social care charging postcode lottery. Councils that do charge for this should now treat the charge as legitimate DRE, as per LG & SC Ombudsman
How many times do you need to be told City of York Council ? You adopted the Social Model yet continue to publish reports including phrases like “suffered from a disability”. It just confirms to me you neither value the disabled community nor listen to what we tell you !

Frances Ryan I think they should lead by example and have all MPs bank accounts under surveillance . They are paid with public money just like benefits. I’m convinced there would be far more fraud established there
