Sept 30 marks he first National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Students and staff ate encouraged to wear an orange shirt to raise awareness of the tragic legacy of residential schools and to honour the resiliency and bravery of survivors #yrdsb

The National Day for Truth and Reconciliation also coincides with #OrangeShirtDay. All members of our #YRDSB community are encouraged to wear orange to honour the survivors of residential schools and those who did not make it home. #EveryChildMatters #FNMIyrdsb

Today the MacKillop Mustangs participated in our Terry Fox School Run. Thanks to the generosity of our community, we have raised over $370 for the Terry Fox Foundation. Go Mavericks!

Today our Mustang Meadows turned into a Pumpkin Patch. Every student had the opportunity to pick their own pumpkin. A big thank you to School Council for helping with this initiative! #yrdsb
