On Wednesday April 8, 2026, OGWAMA arrested & prosecuted 108 residents in Abeokuta for illegal waste dumping. 🚯 Offenders were fined to deter violations. Proper disposal is key to a cleaner, safer Ogun State. Compliance is not optional. #OGWAMA #CleanOgun #WasteResponsibly

Our team is clearing waste along the Papalanto – Arigbajo highway. Illegal dumping isn’t just an eyesore, it spreads disease, breeds mosquitoes,pollutes our environment & floods our roads. Let’s do better by patronizing accredited PSPs. A clean Ogun is our responsibility!!

The OGWAMA Board met today to review the Agency’s progress and evaluate the work completed so far. The session provided a platform to reflect on achievements, address challenges, and outline the next steps toward advancing sustainable waste management in Ogun State.
