Happy to announce our first collaborative work (pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…) with saad makhseed from جامعة الكويت Kuwait University published in J. Mater. Chem. family C showing how you can shield against unwanted dimers. Northumbria Uni Durham Physics Durham Chemistry #dimersareNOTforever #TADF #OLEDs

Happy to announce this PhD opportunity in my new lab Northumbria Uni in colaboration with mcgonigalgroup Durham Chemistry. Finding photonics of the future! #fluorotonix #FluorescenceFriday #PhD #OLEDs #solarcells DM me if you are interested. findaphd.com/phds/project/f…

Dr Iain Wright from Chemistry Loughborough Science will show how homoconjugation can be exploited in triptycene-based organic light-emitting materials to enhance their photophysical parameters and thermally activated delayed fluorescence. Join us at risc-tadf.net #TADF #rISC

Happy to have Paloma Lays present on improving the processability and efficiency of resonant thermally activated delayed fluorescence emitters. The strategy reduces quenching caused by aggregation and roll-off of efficiency in OLEDs. Join us at risc-tadf.net #TADF

Happy to have @FMBaiaoDias from Durham Physics talking about: pathways to efficient orange-red OLEDs; photophysics of a sky-blue non-doped OLED emitter; and how TADF can induce fast radiative decay in dinuclear platinum(II) complexes. Join us at risc-tadf.net #TADF

Great to have Emrys W. Evans from Chemistry SwanseaUni will be talking about organic radical materials and through the use of their quantum mechanical doublet-spin character they can be used for overcoming the spin statistical efficiency limit in OLEDs. Join us risc-tadf.net

Dr Tracey Clarke from UCL Chemistry will show how strategies can be incorporated into conjugated polymers to introduce TADF. The polymers' functionalities can also be controlled and switched between light emission and charge photogeneration. Join us at risc-tadf.net

Prof. Ken Albrecht from Kyushu University will be presenting recent results in the design of doublet emitters. By attaching carbazole dendrimers to luminescent radicals, stability and PLQY can be increased paving the way to more efficient OLEDs. Join us at risc-tadf.net

Just accepted in Materials Horizons and a nice way to finish off the year. We show convincingly that one does not need an acceptor in a molecule for it to show MR-TADF. Congrats again to Dave Hall, Kleitos Stavrou, Eimantas, Andrew & Sergey. DOI to follow. St Andrews School of Chemistry, TADFlife
