The headlines about the Nursing and Midwifery Council’s Independent culture review are very upsetting and disturbing to our members. The NMC plays a crucial role in health and care and it must be fit to uphold standards and safeguard the public.

We cannot have these people in our profession. Patients and our colleagues deserve to be safe.
