Some of my favorites from Hunter's Scottish collection The Hunterian are the Ducat, 2/3rd & 1/3rd Ducat of James V. They're dated 1540 but were struck up until James's death in 1542. They're the earliest coins to be made from Scottish gold. #NumisChat #Numismatics #ScottishHistory
