Very happy to have contributed to this new data story from QualityWatch and Nuffield Trust which explores cancer diagnosis in England and looks at which targets in the NHS long-term plan are likely to be hit (or not). Definitely worth a look. files.nuffieldtrust.org.uk/qualitywatch/c…

Great event organised by Nuffield Trust this PM on digital general practice. During discussion we heard from a receptionist - would love to hear more the perspective of admin staff on how to improve patient experience. Let’s get them represented on panels alongside clinicians!

Younger people and people of ethnic minority groups tend to need more meetings with GP staff before getting diagnosed with cancer. And the overall NHS-set target for increasing % of early diagnoses sadly will not be hit - superb new data story from QualityWatch.
