#OnThisDay in 1995, Rolv Ryssdal became the seventh President of the ECHR CEDH. Born in 1914, he was a member of the resistance during the Nazi occupation of Norway & was imprisoned in 1943 until the country was liberated. ECHR delivered 630 judgements while he was President.
