📦🏥 Essential supplies for Ohmatdyt clildren’s hospital in #Kyiv .

Recently our ICRC colleagues delivered washing powder, toilet paper, hand soap, disinfectants and other hygiene items to support the medical staff’s life-saving work

💡Energy infrastructure sustains communities worldwide: from power plants to water stations & pumps, crucial systems keep our lights on and are crucial to providing healthcare services, among others.

Under IHL, critical infrastructure must be protected.

Even wars have limits.

🏥 👩‍⚕️👨‍⚕️Healthcare personnel, their vehicles and facilities are protected under International Humanitarian Law.

🏫 Education is at risk in  #Ukraine . 

👨‍🎓👩‍🎓 In 2023 the ICRC donated school kits & learning items to more than 9000 children in 56 educational facilities in  #Chernihiv  &  #Kharkiv  regions.

🏥The ICRC built a boiler house for the Chuhuiv hospital as an alternative heating source. This allows to treat patients under any circumstances.
