Our friend and colleague, former Cllr and Honorary Alderwoman Muriel Green BEM has sadly passed away.

Muriel tirelessly served the people of Weetslade ward for over 40 years

Muriel will be greatly missed across the political spectrum and from residents all over North Tyneside

A busy weekend saw one or two rain showers ☔️ but some fantastic conversations on the doorstep.

It was great to catch up with friends and close Labour North regional Conference, as well as catching up with mary glindon about current issues in the constituency.

Catching-up with Emma Foody Assistant General Secretary Co-operative Party and candidate for the new Cramlington & Killingworth Constituency . Emma delivered an excellent speech at the end of the Labour North Regional Conference today.h

In this year’s budget, Labour is investing an extra £1.5 million into keeping our estates tidy and well-maintained.

Everyone deserves to be proud of where they live and having dedicated council teams in estates across the borough is just one way we are doing this.
