This wee Clanger is a similar weight to the 200g hoglet posted earlier, but you can see the difference in them. Clanger is presenting with ringworm in the pic, but with appropriate treatment we won't be able to tell them apart in time.

Betteshanger update. Dover DC has re screened the applications for a hotel and surf lagoon for Environmental Impact Assessment and concluded its not needed. They have now granted full permission for the surf lagoon. Hotel pending. We are taking legal advice.

This year’s #BigButterflyCount results are in and it’s not good news for nature 📰🦋 Overall, participants spotted just 7 butterflies on average per 15-minute Count, a reduction of almost 50% on last year’s average of 12, and the lowest in the 14-year history of the Count. 🧵

Since August 1st, FLAP Volunteers have documented 992 collisions, as of Sept 17th. Thankfully 221 injured birds were rescued, giving them a better chance at survival. #GlobalBirdRescue
