Today we were notified of an injured badger on a very busy dual carriageway in Birmingham. Thanks to Ray at Hollytrees for liaising with the police and getting them safe and thanks to our Chairman for getting them safely to Vale Wildlife Hospital .

This Fallow Deer (Dama dama) had attempted to jump the fence but caught both hind legs in the wire.
Our vet was able to stitch up the wound & he was put in our mammal unit for monitoring.
We're pleased to say the wound healed & he made a full recovery
We're looking for a #Philanthropy Officer, part-time (16 hours), who has experience in grant applications.

Meet Heidi
Heidi is the latest orphaned otter cub to come through our doors. She was rescued by Vale Wildlife Hospital Vale Wildlife Hospital and Rehabilitation Centre and once strong enough, transferred to our Specialist Otter Rehabilitation Centre. š¦¦
