My little niece Róise, who is the most wonderful, determined little girl. Her parents, her preschool and her medical team have worked together to ensure she has accessed a safe education to date. Now, as she enters Junior Infants, these supports just disappear. Heartbreaking 💔

I don’t often tweet on personal things anymore but I struggle to understand how my four year old niece with Type 1 #diabetes isn’t getting the support that she needs as she enters the education system here in Ireland. She is being disadvantaged before she even begins.
