Productive visit in #Doolow! This week, UNICEF Somalia's team led by Justine Raymond visited our women & girls safe space in Kabasa camp where NoFYL is implementing adolescent programming. They engaged the girls & gathered feedbacks to strengthen adol. girls programming toolkit



In an effort to strengthen protection & accountability, NoFYL staff in Bardheere & Doolow were trained on: ▶️Aid Diversion ▶️Accountability to Affected Population ▶️Prevention of Sexual Exploitation & Abuse ▶️Community-based Complaint Mechanisms 🙏 UNICEF Somalia for supporting



At the 💙 of our UNICEF Somalia-funded #GBV response is the economic empowerment of women & girls. in #Doolow, 30 women & girls are learning new skills through tie & dye training at our WGSS. 🌟The skills gained will give them a chance to generate income for their families.✨




Partnering to Empower Adolescent Girls! Today marks the last day of UNICEF’s 4-day training of 6 partner organisations. This will equip them to roll out the 'Girl Shine - Adolescent Girls Lifeskills Curriculum' across Somalia; thanks to support from Bundesentwicklungsministerium German Cooperation.


As humanitarians, we are committed to protecting those most vulnerable. In #Bardheere & #Doolow, we trained community members on aid diversion, prevention of sexual exploitation & abuse, accountability to affected populations & complaint mechanisms. Thanks to UNICEF Somalia🤝🏿
