Congratulations to our Nickle students attending our first cross country event at Stanley Park this week. We had some stand-out performances placing first, second, third, and fourth. Gr. 9s had a float down the Bow, toured Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant, and used scientific testing (temperature, pH, oxygen, turbidity, etc) to try to determine the health of the river. Thanks Riverwatch Alberta for a great day! #handsonscience Nickle School Parents #WeAreCBE

Nickle students learning on the land. Our first 'whole school' walk to Fish Creek park was a success! Students walked over 6 km, explored a park in their backyard, enjoyed some light rain, and were back to school in time for lunch. #WeAreCBE #Outdoorclassroom Nickle School Parents

Our whole school headed to Fish Creek park again, luckily before the cold snap. Students went back to the places they explored in September to see the changes. Great day to spend on the land! #WeAreCBE Nickle School Parents
