Happy to see our paper online now at JCI insight! UKY Center for Muscle Biology - Extracellular vesicle transfer of miR-1 to adipose tissue modifies lipolytic pathways following resistance exercise insight.jci.org/articles/view/…

Successfully defended my dissertation yesterday to close out a very productive and fun PhD experience in Christopher Fry lab! 🥳🥳 I could not have chosen a better place UKY Center for Muscle Biology and mentor to complete a PhD with!!

Christmas came early! Excited to share our work just out in @JPhys where in collaboration with Christopher Fry we show that pharmacological inhibition of CSF1-R improves musculoskeletal recovery following joint injury #myotwitter physoc.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1113/JP… (1/2)

Looking forward to #ORS2025! We have several fantastic projects presented by Alex Keeble Sara Gonzalez and Nick Thomas! UKY Center for Muscle Biology

Great last night night at #ORS2025 with Alex Keeble Nick Thomas Sara Gonzalez McKenzie White

Happy to share our review in Journal of Physiology that takes a clinical slant on FAP contributions to muscle pathology and therapeutic potential with a focus on common MSK injuries and disorders. Announcing the 6 finalist for the Advances in Skeletal Muscle Biology Conference Trainee Communication Award! Vote for your favorite video and the trainee with the most likes wins! #myotwítter #4 of 6: Ross Wohlgemuth

Excited to share new projects from the lab at the Advances in Skeletal Muscle Biology meeting! Please stop by and chat with Alex Keeble Ross P. Wohlgemuth, Ph.D. Nick Thomas Sara Gonzalez #myotwitter

I’m exited to share that I won the Function Trainee Poster Award at the UF Myology Institute ASMB conference!! Huge thanks to the organizers, the judges, my lab and Christopher Fry for the support. American Physiological Society Sue Bodine

Very grateful to have had the opportunity to share our work at UF Myology Institute at the podium. I've found no better place to talk muscle and connect with other muscle scientists #muscleiscool UKY Center for Muscle Biology

Final version: “A history of omics discoveries reveals the correlates and mechanisms of loading-induced hypertrophy in adult skeletal muscle. 2024 CaMPS young investigator award invited review”. #myotwitter Thanks AJP-Cell Physiology Liliana Schaefer, MD LEMuR@Mac journals.physiology.org/doi/epdf/10.11…

It’s been great having Annabel in the lab with us. Excited to see the results of her work! It was a busy few weeks but we found time for some fun Nick Thomas Alex Keeble Sara Gonzalez Ross P. Wohlgemuth, Ph.D. Jean Fry, PhD, RDN Allison Owen, PhD UKY Center for Muscle Biology

Soo pumped to see this paper online! Much of my work over the past 3 years. Fitting to be ending my time at UKY Center for Muscle Biology with this one- I learned a lot, made new collaborations, and it led to important discoveries and data for the field #myotwitter sciencedirect.com/science/articl…
