I have a lot of contempt for the US government for rightfully condemning these horrific homophobic bills in Uganda and elsewhere without fully accounting for how the targeted export of evangelical Christianity to Africa facilitates their creation.

The story behind marine mammal outbreaks of bird flu. Spoiler alert: this is a tragedy of an unprecedented scale 💔🦠🦭.

Happy days! I'm so up for getting squawked at and pooped on by this majestic species: the Common Tern. Zero signs of bird flu on this colony 🎉 in contrast to populations in Europe that suffered badly this year 😭. So far, so good for healthy seabird colonies in Massachusetts.
