It raises important issues such as the challenges with defining extremism, the perceptions of healthcare professionals about Prevent, and the lack of transparency of certain aspects of the Prevent program. However the critical appraisal of the report raises questions... 2/3

...about how the data was interpreted and the validity of associated conclusions, such as the over-representation of BAME and Muslims, the false positives concept, and Prevent referral trends. The MDA will be examining the report closely over the next few weeks.3/3
