All the toys were out at Old Buckenham Windmill this morning as the mill was swept out ready for the first open day of the season. There was as much activity outside as inside - the site now has a new tea hut. Many thanks to all Old Buckenham Windmill volunteers who helped out.

We are very grateful to Pilgrim Trust for this generous grant to support our work at Turf Fen Drainage Mill. We look forward to sharing more good news stories about this project as it progresses.

We look forward to you 'turning' up at Billingford Mill for a guided tour between 12:00-16:00 on Sun 24 Sep. It is our last open day of this season. The mill is on Billingford Common, Low Road, nr Diss, IP21 4HL. £3 per adult (cash only) accompanied children free.

Billingford Windmill Open Day - this Sunday - 20 Aug, 12:00-16:00.

After welcoming a record number of visitors to Stracey Arms Drainage Mill yesterday to mark the end of the restoration project there, it is great to see that another Halvergate Marshes mill is receiving some TLC.

Arriving by car tomorrow (Sun 23 Jul) to visit Stracey Arms Mill for the special Open Day? Use the car park at the Hindu Temple opposite the junction with Branch Road (see map). Look out for the 'Temple' sign off the A47. Many thanks to the Vedic Cultural Society of East Anglia.
