Yesterdays Principal’s assembly had a focus on our Celebrate Pillar. Mr Watson’s messages to students, Yes I can & strive for your personal best. You don’t just walk into success you have to work for it & some of the biggest successes & celebrations are sitting in our audience.

Last night we welcomed 40 Newman College students to our St Vinnie’s Winter Sleepout - a chance for students to stand in solidarity with those who are doing it rough this winter. Led by our youth chaplain Issy, students began the evening with games & relationship building

This was followed by a wonderful presentation by Hannah from Vinnies WA - both informative and inspirational in its nature as students reflected on what it is like to live homeless & reflect on the things they really need & can do without. Hannah is a first rate presenter!
