I was honoured to announce the launch of Vancouver Coastal Health’s first ever DTES Youth Outreach Centre alongside Ravi Kahlon & Joan Phillip. We toured this new space & met the staff on the DTES Youth Outreach team who are set to make a big difference in the lives of youth in the community.

With the language being used to slam our BC Government on the lack of housing, it's extremely disappointing that some MLAs are more committed to leaving work at 6:30pm than they are to working to solve this issue. People are counting on us, we need to do better.

The Transit-Oriented Development Area changes will not overrule heritage status in places like Chinatown. Heritage designation can be provided under the Heritage Conservation Act, as a National Historic Site federally, or through the Local Government Act and zoning bylaw

Shocked & heartbroken to hear of the lives lost & those injured at the Lapu Lapu festival. Police are investigating & a suspect is in custody. We are in contact with the City of Vancouver and will provide any support needed. My thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.

This is just wrong. The Infrastructure Projects Act is about reducing redundancies (not standards) on critical infrastructure projects like schools and hospitals — projects Rustad failed to invest in when he was in government — so that they can be built faster for communities.

Tara Armstrong and Jordan Kealy have fully backed Dallas Brodie's anti-Indigenous racism. They've spread hate against trans people. They've aggressively attacked BC Conservative MLAs. After all that, John Rustad just said he'd consider welcoming them back. Watch:
