If someone chooses to live in a smaller home in the inner city to avoid a commute, they generally don’t pressure society to build them a bigger house with more stuff. So if you choose a bigger stuff-filled house in the suburbs, don’t expect society to build you a fast commute.

🏆 We're still on a high from last night's #ScotCharityAwards! 👏 It was a joy celebrating the very best of Scotland's essential voluntary sector - so many incredible people and organisations making a meaningful difference to the communities they support. 🎉 Congratulations

Thank you to Paul of the The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) who delivered a wonderful volunteer event for the West Lothian volunteers on 27/6. We learned so much about the Howden Walled Garden area, nature, flowers, herbs and tea. All in the pouring rain but after a while you never noticed that. #nature

Thank you OU in Scotland for tonight’s event with Jenni Fagan. I was blown away by her words, grace and insight. I can’t wait to read her Memoir. Hoping to make it my book group pick!

Amazing event in Braidburn Valley Park run by committed local volunteers to keep this green space thriving. (Didn’t get any photos of event in full swing due to being busy face painting every small person in the area. Many unicorns and rainbows 🌈 )

I’ve signed up to support this amazing cause. I’ve been warned about the hills in Queens Park! Come join me and other walkers/runners!

It was great to catch up with old colleagues and be reminded of fantastic individuals making a huge difference to their communities and the environment. Also lovely to be hosted by Postcode Lottery and catch up with Laura Chow (she/her)

Panel discussion with First Minister at #SCVOGathering always gives valuable opportunity to broaden the discussion. Stability of funding always a topic… shared his hope for 3 year funding outlook from UKG.
