Today (22 May) is the International Day for Biodiversity. Today we are shining a light on the Garden Tiger Moth and its ‘Woolly Bear’ caterpillars – once common in gardens, sadly this species has seen substantial declines in recent decades.

Pied Flycatchers and their verdant summer home in Wales. They winter in the Congo basin!
