5-11 May is Hedgehog Awareness Week. You can make your garden more hedgehog friendly by avoiding pesticides, providing nesting sites, and creating gaps in fences to allow them to move between gardens.

Today (21 April) is World Curlew Day. Curlews are threatened with extinction as a Welsh breeding bird in the next two decades, something Curlew Wales (Gylfinir Cymru) hopes to change:

Another 90 newly installed House Martin nest cups installed in the Amman Valley. Lots of House Martins flying overhead too. Fingers crossed they'll find them. Huge thank you to TRJ and Heddlu Dyfed-Powys Police Rural Crime Team @ Dyfed-Powys Police for all their help today and for letting us install all the boxes.
