This breath taking Irish rainforest in #Leitrim is one of the best I've seen. The ground flora was so diverse,trees festooned with Lungwort & many other #lichens It offered a glimpse into the past & how our uplands would have been. Tragic how much we have lost. #woodland

Indeed, saw my first strands of this year's blue green algae at the bottom of Featherbed Lane about a month ago even before the Summer gets going. So last year's reappearance of the algae after at least a decade and a half was not a once off.

Poulaphuca reservoir, which provides drinking water to most of Dublin and surrounding areas, is not far behind.

I’m curious to know what €€€ Tirlán is investing to address water quality issues? Where can I find info? I absolutely support the state assisting farmers but wd like to know exactly what the industry is investing & how effective that investment might be.
