Last night, Hansi Lo Wang (he/him) reported on a contentious 2-1 decision on a redistricting case by the 5th Circuit.

Judge David C. Joseph, who authored the opinion, failed to disclose that he attended a seminar at a five-star hotel in London, and got a free room/meals and $ for travel.

And while most of the judges who attend the George Mason events at luxury resorts were Trump appointees, the disclosure issues were across the board.

We found issues with disclosure for judges appointed by every president going back to Reagan.

The crackdowns at universities is excessive & inexcusable, but the actions of the protestors do nothing to further their cause. Fringe anarchism & mindless destruction lead ordinary Americans to reject the cause of students’ righteous anger.
