I’m so glad this is being called out! (And trust Trevor Noah to address the issue with a touch of humor). My heart goes out to all those affected in Ukraine 💜 but really, some of the reporting by European journalists makes me wonder whether they learnt European history in school

One thing I’ve noticed is the way Ukrainians here are helping each other. There is a feeling of solidarity. Everywhere there are people signing up to volunteer their skills or time — like making camouflage from clothes scraps. Hospitality staff in Lviv show staggering kindness.
